What could be more decadent than a rich chocolate truffle? We love this French truffle recipe because it couldn't be easier to make, only requires a couple of ingredients, and is so moreish. The truffles are an ideal festive snack but can be enjoyed all year long.
Bring the double cream to a simmer.
Pour the cream on the thinly cut chocolate.
Stir with a wooden spoon until silky and add a pinch of salt.
Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge overnight.
Shape small balls with your hands and roll them in the topping of your choice. Then store in the fridge.
