Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

What’s not to love about freshly baked cookies? While the possibilities for flavour combinations are endless, sometimes the classics work wonders. This version pairs the rich indulgence of chocolate with the nutty charm of hazelnuts, creating a truly delightful treat.
Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 85 g melted butter
- 70 g light brown sugar
- 30 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 100 g milk chocolate chunks
- 50 g hazelnuts
- 1 pinch sea salt flakes

In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.- 3
In a separate bowl, mix the two sugars, cooled butter, and eggs until well combined.- 4
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.- 5
Fold in the chocolate chunks and roughly chopped hazelnuts.- 6
Chill the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.- 7
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).- 8
Shape the dough into evenly sized balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.- 9
Gently flatten each ball and sprinkle with a few flakes of sea salt.- 10
