Invisible Apple Cake

There’s something so satisfying about spending a crisp, sunny autumn day picking apples by the basketful. Whether you’re planning to bake or snack, they’re a guarantee of something delicious. One of my favourite ways to make the most of them is with an Invisible Apple Cake. This treat is all about layers of tender, tangy apples held together by a soft, almost custard-like batter. And then there’s that golden, caramelised top—rich, comforting, and everything you want from an autumn dessert. It's a simple pleasure that celebrates the best of the season.
